Debt Calculators
Mortgage Calculator - If you want to do a few sums with your mortgage, take a look at this excellent calculation tool. Just enter the size of your mortgage, the rate of interest and the length of the loan.
It will give you a detailed breakdown of the monthly repayments over the period of the mortgage and the amount that you'll owe at the end of every month.
If you have to pay property tax or mortgage insurance (PMI) in your country, it will also take that into account.
Loan Calculator - This calculator will allow you to make decisions about repaying your debts.
For example, if you enter the loan amount, the rate of interest and the size of your monthly repayment, it will show you the time needed to repay the loan.
And if you enter the loan amount, the interest rate and the length you'd like the loan to last, it will show you the size of the monthly repayments.
Use it to work out how much you could save by getting a lower rate of interest. Or how about checking how fast you could repay your debt by increasing the size of your monthly repayment.
And all your calculations are listed on the right hand side of the page. If you click each item in the list it will be highlighted a different color, which is a great way to compare the different results.
